Wigan International Jazz Festival
The annual Wigan International Jazz Festival celebrates its 25th anniversary with an eight-day programme of ticketed and free events involving almost 300 musicians. Headline acts include the Scottish National Jazz Orchestra, the Monty Alexander Trio and the Stan Tracey Big Band.

Exodus Festival
A free family festival celebrating the arts and culture of Greater Manchester's diverse refugee communities. Expect music and dance performances from more than 25 acts, including the renowned Beating Wing Orchestra. There will also be creative workshops, a parade, international food and world crafts.

Contacting the World

Manchester Jazz Festival
The cream of Manchester's jazz scene share a stage with internationally-renowned players for nine days of musical firsts, international debuts and free gigs. Highlights include the world premiere of a suite for jazz orchestra led by trumpeter Neil Yates; a performance by jazz supergroup Simcock/Walker/Swallow/Nussbaum; and Phil Bancroft's multi-media musical odyssey Home, Small as the World.

Camouflage

Da Vinci - The Genius

Everyday People

Elizabeth Gaskell: A Connected Life

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
